How to ask a good question
Yes or no tarot works best with a straight question about something that can still happen: “Will they text me this week?”, “Should I take this job?”. Open questions like “What does he feel for me?” fit the three-card love tarot better.
Ask it the positive way and about you. Instead of “Won’t he leave me?”, ask “Will we stay together this year?”. That keeps the card's answer clear.
How to read the answer
Every Major Arcana card has an answer: yes, no or maybe. Yes and no speak about the tendency of the moment, not a fixed fate. Maybe means the answer depends on something not decided yet, and the text of the card says what.
Read the advice too. It is often the most useful part: it says what to do so the yes can happen, or so the no weighs less. Want to go deeper into one card? Every card has its own page with the meaning upright and reversed, in love and as feelings: see the tarot card meanings.
All 22 cards as yes or no
The answer of each Major Arcana card and why.

The Magician· Yes
Yes: you already hold most of what it takes to make this work. The rest comes down to you and whether you are willing to make the first move yourself.

The High Priestess· Maybe
Maybe: the answer is not in plain sight yet, and there are things you do not know. Before you decide, listen to the quiet feeling you already have, because it usually knows more than your doubts.

The Empress· Yes
Yes: what you are asking about has good ground to grow in if you look after it. Things come together naturally here when you give them your time and a little patience.

The Emperor· Yes
Yes, as long as you go about it with a clear plan. This card favors firm decisions and serious commitments, so set dates and boundaries, and what you want will stand on solid ground.

The Hierophant· Yes
Yes, if you take the familiar route. This works out when you follow the rules and ask someone with experience for advice; here the traditional way is the safest one.

The Lovers· Yes
Yes, especially if your heart and your head point the same way. This card is about a choice made wholeheartedly, so pick what you truly want over what others expect from you.

The Chariot· Yes
Yes, and probably sooner than you expect. The momentum is on your side, so hold your course and keep moving toward what you want with confidence.

Justice· Maybe
Maybe: this leans toward a fair result that reflects what you have really put into it. If you have acted clearly and in good faith, the scales tip in your favor.

The Hermit· Maybe
Maybe: nothing is clear yet, and rushing will not help. Take some time to figure out what you actually want, and the answer will come once you turn down the outside noise and listen to yourself.

Wheel of Fortune· Yes
Yes: things are starting to turn in your favor and an opening is appearing. Make the most of it now, because the wheel keeps turning and what is easy today may take more effort later.

Strength· Yes
Yes, if you meet it calmly and stay consistent. You have more inner strength than you think, and patience and kindness will open doors here that pressure would keep shut.

The Hanged Man· Maybe
Maybe, though not right now and not the way you expect. Things are on pause and forcing them will not help, so look at the situation from another angle and you may find a different way through.

Death· No
No, at least not in its current form: something has to end before something new can come in. Holding on to things as they are keeps you stuck, while accepting the ending opens a better path.

Temperance· Yes
Yes, though at its own pace. Things are settling into place little by little, and if you stay patient and look for middle ground between what you want and what is possible, it will turn out well.

The Devil· No
No, at least not in a healthy way. Something is pulling at you or holding you more than is good for you, so check whether what you want gives you freedom or takes it away.

The Tower· No
No, and if it does happen, it will not go the way you planned. Something unexpected could change the picture suddenly, so have a backup plan and do not bet everything on one outcome.

The Star· Yes
Yes, and the outlook is good. Your hope about this is well founded, so keep going with confidence, even if the result takes a little while to fully show itself.

The Moon· No
No, not for now: there is too much confusion, and you may not know the whole story. Wait until you have clear information before you decide, and do not let fear or fantasy make the call.

The Sun· Yes
Yes, clearly. This is one of the most favorable cards in the deck, and what you are asking about has a strong chance of turning out well, so go ahead with confidence.

Judgement· Yes
Yes: the answer or second chance you have been waiting for is within reach, if you take it. Now is the time to decide clearly and leave behind whatever no longer makes sense to carry.

The World· Yes
Yes, toward completion. What you are asking about can come full circle and give you the satisfaction of closing a chapter well, with new doors opening right after.

The Fool· Maybe
Maybe, but there are no guarantees. This is a leap into the unknown: if the adventure appeals to you and you are fine with surprises, go for it, just watch where you step.
Questions
Can I get a free yes or no tarot reading?
Yes. Think of a question that can be answered with yes or no, pick one card and read the answer at once. It is free, with no sign-up and no limit on draws. The AI explanation for your exact question is free twice a day.
How do you get a yes or no answer in tarot?
Each Major Arcana card leans yes, no or maybe. The Sun and The Star lean yes, The Tower and The Moon lean no, and cards like Justice or The Hanged Man say it depends. The text under the card explains why and on what it depends.
Do online yes or no tarot readings work?
They work as a way to see the tendency of the moment and what is in your hands, not as a prediction. The answer is most useful for a concrete question about something that can still happen, and the advice of the card often matters more than the yes or no itself.
What if I get a maybe?
A maybe means the answer depends on something not decided yet: a conversation, a choice, timing. Read what the card says it depends on, or ask the AI a follow-up about the same card.
