What makes a relationship karmic

In the destiny matrix every person has a karmic tail: three numbers at the bottom of the chart that describe an old pattern, the situation they keep meeting until they handle it differently. When two people share numbers from their tails, each of them recognizes something in the other. That recognition is what people mean when they say a relationship is karmic.

Karmic ties are the numbers that sit in one person’s tail and in the other person’s tail or core. The more there are, the stronger the familiar pull.

The karmic tail of the couple comes from the chart of the two of you together. It names the pattern the relationship itself tends to replay, whatever the ties.

A karmic link shows where the relationship will test you, which is useful to know early.

The 22 karmic patterns of a couple

The last number of your couple’s tail, read on its own.

1The Magician

You start things together and lose interest halfway. Projects, plans, even the relationship itself can stall once the exciting first stage is over.

The way out: Pick one shared thing and finish it before starting the next.

2The High Priestess

Important things stay unsaid between you. Each of you waits for the other to understand without being told.

The way out: Say the uncomfortable thing within a day, in plain words.

3The Empress

One of you looks after the other until it turns into parenting. Care becomes a way to keep score or keep control.

The way out: Let the one who gives more practice receiving, and the other practice giving back.

4The Emperor

Control keeps coming back: one runs things, the other resists or gives up. Order slowly replaces closeness.

The way out: Split responsibilities by area and let each person run theirs without checking.

5The Hierophant

One of you becomes the teacher and the other the student. Advice turns into judgment and the equal footing slips.

The way out: Ask before giving advice, and listen to the answer.

6The Lovers

You keep choosing and doubting at the same time. Comparisons with exes, friends or other couples come up again and again.

The way out: Make the choice clearly once, then stop reopening it at every bump.

7The Chariot

You run from one goal to the next and never stop to be together. When there is no task, you do not know what to do with each other.

The way out: Plan regular time with no goal at all, and protect it.

8Justice

You keep a ledger of who owes whom. Old unfairness gets dragged into new arguments.

The way out: Settle each issue when it happens and agree not to bring it back.

9The Hermit

Closeness alternates with long withdrawals. One retreats and the other feels abandoned, then the roles switch.

The way out: Agree how long a break can be and always say when you are stepping away.

10Wheel of Fortune

You wait for circumstances to decide for you: the right job, the right time, the right sign. The relationship drifts with events.

The way out: Make one decision together each month instead of waiting for the moment.

11Strength

Power struggles repeat: who is stronger, who backs down. Passion and anger come from the same place.

The way out: Agree on a pause word for heated moments and use it before things get said.

12The Hanged Man

One of you keeps sacrificing for the other and quietly expects payment for it. Waiting replaces acting.

The way out: Stop giving up what matters to you, and ask directly for what you need.

13Transformation

You hold on to what has already ended: an old arrangement, an old conflict, an old version of each other. Endings drag on.

The way out: Name what is over, mark it in some way, and make room for what comes next.

14Temperance

You smooth over everything to avoid conflict. Real feelings get diluted until the relationship feels flat.

The way out: Disagree out loud on small things so that big ones do not pile up.

15The Devil

You get hooked on each other or on a shared habit, and freedom shrinks. Jealousy or dependence keeps returning.

The way out: Keep your own friends and time, and treat any habit you both overdo as a shared project to cut back.

16The Tower

Problems pile up unnoticed and then come out all at once. Calm stretches end in sudden blowups.

The way out: Check in weekly about small irritations so nothing has a chance to build up.

17The Star

You live in a shared dream and avoid the everyday. Reality keeps disappointing you both.

The way out: Turn each big wish into one concrete step with a date.

18The Moon

Fears and suspicion keep coming back. You read hidden meanings into ordinary words and guess instead of asking.

The way out: When a worry comes up, ask the question directly and accept the answer.

19The Sun

One of you needs to shine and the other stays in the shadow. You end up competing for attention.

The way out: Take turns supporting and being supported, in public as well as at home.

20Judgement

Family scripts repeat between you: your parents' arguments, old grudges, loyalty to relatives over each other.

The way out: Agree that decisions about you two are made by you two.

21The World

One of you keeps looking past the relationship for something bigger. The bond feels too small to hold both lives.

The way out: Build a shared plan that includes both people's wider ambitions.

22The Fool

You keep things light and avoid commitment. Plans stay vague and serious talks get turned into jokes.

The way out: Say clearly what you want from each other, and decide on one shared commitment.

Questions

How do I know if my relationship is karmic?

People usually describe a strong pull from the first meeting, a feeling of already knowing the other person, and one kind of situation that keeps coming back. The calculator checks the birth dates for the same thing: numbers shared between your two karmic tails.

How does the calculator decide?

Each person has a karmic tail, three numbers at the bottom of the destiny matrix. A karmic tie is a number that appears in one person’s tail and in the other’s tail or core. No ties means a light karmic link, one tie a noticeable link, two or more a strong one.

Is a karmic relationship bad?

No. It means the relationship comes with a familiar pattern. Couples who notice the pattern and handle it differently often end up very close. If a relationship makes you feel unsafe, that matters more than any chart.

Do karmic relationships last?

Some do and some do not. The length depends on what the two people do with the pattern, not on the numbers. The karmic tail of the couple shows which pattern to watch.
